On the 31st of August, Upstart Commerce announced the release of UpStart Commerce Search, the search platform powered by OpenSearch. UpStart Commerce Search allows UpStart Commerce to take its search functionality to the next level to improve results. Our smart search also leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning to produce fast and relevant results.

Studies have shown the need for search engines as an essential requirement for any business platform. Considering the need for an optimized search engine, UpStart Commerce developed a search engine with these critical factors in mind:
